My oldest daughter and I have been busy! I didn't think about taking pictures until we already had the front and back of the purse started. lol. I will try to do better next time. We made a "Mini Bow Tucks" purse designed by Penny Sturges.
www.quiltsillustrated.com . We chose some batik fabrics that I've had in my stash for awhile.

Uh oh! The summer hair frizzies are here! Must mean a rise in the humidity! ;>D

Here it is all finished! I really like how it turned out! My daughter will keep this one. I may just have to make another one for myself! Sew cute! :>)

Here is a picture of the inside. I love the fact that there are lots and lots of pockets! I just need to purchase some "Matte board for the bottom of the purse yet, but other wise it is finished. Horray!!
Happy Quilting!!

Nice bag and yep, those extra pockets sure are wonderful! Cute cute apron, too!! Hope you are enjoying the hair frizzzzzzing summer days. :o)
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful purse! I agree that you'll have to make yourself one!
ReplyDeletePretty bag!
ReplyDeleteI didn't put the board in the bottom of mine and it's just fine.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing to give support to your purse bottom is plastic canvas. I just cover it with fabric and it works great!
