I've been working on machine quilting the round robin quilt. I'm about half way as of today. I can only do a limited amount of sewing in one sitting due to a past shoulder injury. After about 2 bobbins worth of sewing I need to get up and do some stretching and special exercises that I am supposed to do daily with my arms. I'm slow but I do finish things eventually, although I would much rather keep zooming along and get things finished quicker. :0)
Here are some pillowcases I made over the weekend. I made them for daughter #1, who is away at college. I'm hoping they will go with the quilt she made for her dorm room. I findpurples/lavenders a difficult color to match with, unless you have a swatch of color in your hand. Red on the other hand seems to be one of the easiest. What do you think?
Such a good mom to make pillow cases to match...hopefully match. LOL I think reds are hard only because some read orange. Maybe it is just me!
